For all intents and purposes, Jenner's bridge and creek restoration project has been completed. After the long promised FEMA funding had FINALLY been distributed to the JCC, it was immediately distributed to all who had assisted the JCC in this long and difficult project. However, the books have not yet been allowed to close. While almost all of the several contractors were pleased to have been paid and with interest, one of the contractors, apparently unwilling to give consideration to the continually known fact that payment was contingent upon FEMA distribution, is now seeking unreasonable compensation for the delays that were beyond the JCC's ability to remedy.
